For superior students performing repertoire of a serious competitive nature. The best four performers in each category will win a beautiful commemorative trophy. The first place winner of each category may advance to the Grand Prize contest. Performance consists of two contrasting pieces or movements; alternatively can be a single, longer piece with contrasting sections. At least one piece must be by an American composer or related to America.

Recommended total performance time should be 6+ minutes.

Total performance cannot exceed 10 minutes total.
